Background to Health Sabbatical

Starting in November 2009 I underwent a series of medical tests which eventually led to a diagnosis that I was suffering from a very aggressive stage 4 cancer involving base of tongue, lymph glands, and neck. The type, severity, stage and prognosis of this diagnosis left me with no alternative but to take a sabbatical from my work in complementary therapy to attend to my health.

Given the fact that I had on several occasions sincerely and publicly stated that I wished I knew what makes the difference between those that survive cancer or otherwise, it has been my intention throughout to treat this situation as a learning opportunity. Aggressive health treatments were completed sometime in June followed by a period of convalescence.

Thanks for the patience, concern and understanding I have been shown by so many of you regarding this matter. The many positive healing thoughts, prayers, and not least of all the healings I have received sustained and supported me through what was an extremely difficult time....they were all received with gratitude. I am convinced that your support has been a key factor in my recovery which has resulted by my again offering my services to those who require them.

LATEST NEWS from Gordon Soutar - I have now started to ease my way back into work over the Autumn months building towards full time resumption in December 2010. Enquiries and questions are now welcome, and appointment bookings for complementary therapy treatments, and for courses have resumed.
