SourceSTAR Course Standards and Certification
Although SourceSTAR Course Training is thorough, uniform and of high standard, it should encourage use of intuition and should be enjoyable.. A standardised training manual is issued for each level of training undertaken, and SourceSTAR training and certification is centralised, overseen by The SourceSTAR Association. A unique certificate is issued by the Association via your Master Teacher following satisfactory completion of your SourceSTAR course. The SourceSTAR Association is a non-profit organisation with a committee of democratically elected members with half the committee standing down for election each year.
SourceSTAR Course Dates and Venues
SourceSTAR Course - Level 1 (Minimum 2 full days)
This SourceSTAR Level 1 Course will teach you how to channel and use the energy of SourceSTAR safely for your own personal use and for family and friends. You will undergo Initiation into SourceSTAR level 1, a healing process raising your personal vibration, and be taught all the necessary fundamentals of Energy work including Clearing a Space; Protection; How to ask for and channel the SourceSTAR energy; the Hand Positions for self and family treatments; and the first 5 healing symbols of SourceSTAR. Students will be given a comprehensive SourceSTAR training course manual and there will be practical demonstration and practice, sharing of experiences, and Meditation. (No previous experience is required)
Next Level 1 Course (Beginners Level)

SourceSTAR Course - Levels 1 & 2 Combined(2010 Course Available)
SourceSTAR Course levels 1 & 2 combined is suitable only for those who are already experienced at working with energy (eg Reiki Attuned). You will be Initiated into SourceSTAR Levels 1 & 2 and be taught how to channel and use SourceSTAR safely for your own personal use, and for members of the public. You will be given opportunities to share knowledge and learn methods of Clearing Space and Protection. You will be Introduced to SourceSTAR and how to ask for and channel the SourceSTAR energy. Although use of intuition is encouraged, you be taught a Framework within which you may work safely, including Hand Positions, enabling you to carry out full seated and couch treatments and distance healing. You will also be taught how to use the first 10 healing symbols in SourceSTAR along with other techniques. There will be practical demonstration and practice, sharing of experiences, and Meditations.

SourceSTAR Course Venues Elsewhere
There are regular venues for SourceSTAR courses in Edinburgh and Glasgow, but Gordon Soutar is willing to travel elsewhere by arrangement. Please do not hesitate to contact Gordon about the possibility of him facilitating a course in your local area or venue. Course fees will be dependent upon cost of travel, venue hire and number of participating students.

Gordon Soutar is an experienced full time Practitioner and Trainer of Complementary Therapy in Edinburgh. Gordon was initially elected chairperson of the steering group charged with the duty of setting up The SourceSTAR Association and is currently the elected Chairperson of the Association.
